Bambi Manosa as creative director and curator teamed up with Japanese designer, Wataru Sakuma to explore and execute new and innovative applications of coconut as raw material for home décor and architecture. This stunning exhibit is inspired by the Filipinos’ Bayanihan spirit. Hexagonal cut of coconut lumber, six triangular obelisks made of coconut components arise from the ground to serve as material showcase as well as dramatic backdrop for the product display. Through this exhibit, visitors are invited to participate in this conversation about the infinite possibilities of the humble coconut tree.
