CITEM defers Manila FAME 2020 trade show, will launch digital platform in October

Every year we look forward to connecting with the global home and lifestyle community at Manila FAME. But given the growing concerns around COVID-19, the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) has decided to defer the staging of the 71st edition of Manila FAME, originally scheduled on 17-19 October 2020. This decision was made based on health and safety considerations as well as the results of a readiness survey we facilitated with our stakeholders.

While the global pandemic has disrupted the physical Manila FAME show this year, we are exploring various opportunities and platforms. We are turning to digital and its ability to promote Filipino brands, products and artisanship in tested and untapped markets. Manila FAME's new digital platform will be launched in October 2020.

We are grateful for the enthusiasm and active preparations of our exhibitors and stakeholders for Manila FAME and we are looking forward to having them onboard our digital platform. Exciting times are ahead for Manila FAME and we thank you for your trust and continued support.

Sincerely,

Paulina Suaco-Juan
Executive Director
